Our solution for change
Citizens’ Climate Lobby supports H.R. 763 which is the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. We believe this solution will have lasting positive effects, as it aims to reduce carbon pollution while supporting American innovation and ingenuity. The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act is good for people, good for the economy, bipartisan, and revenue neutral, as all the fees collected on carbon emissions will be allocated to all Americans rather than being kept by the government.
For more information or to lend your support to this bill, visit the official Citizen’s Climate Lobby page on H.R. 763.
All help is welcome – large & small
We have a wide range of opportunities for volunteers to work with their individual skills, meaning anyone can contribute. We have roles such as:
Working with local businesses to earn their support
In order to work towards the passage of the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, we need the support of local businesses to show our senators and representatives that climate change hurts Cleveland economics.
Tabling at local events
Managing spaces at events around Cleveland allows us to educate others on CCL’s mission and recruit new members.
Letter writing and social media campaigns
Reaching out to our state senators and representatives in Ohio is essential to letting them know what is important to the people of Cleveland.
Not sure how you can help? All types of volunteer work are appreciated. We have members who bring treats to meetings to increase moral, assist in gathering media support, and more.
